Environment plays an integral role in shaping who we are as individuals, families and a society. There are many factors contributing to the violence and alienation affecting youth and our community. Creating an environment to teach the nurturing of life, empathy, consoling, experiential education, and community building could be part of the solution to our current societal plague of violence.
